Training & Learning
Throughout our history of work we have always tried to upskill and train the partners we work with. We have acted as consultants for many regionally funded bodies and some commercial sector companies.
We work closely with local schools on Creative Partnership schemes and offer long term work experience placements for talented students. We can help bring the 'industry' perspective in to media based teaching and have helped develop lesson plans to integrate our involvement in curriculum delivery.
We can work with Teachers and Students either in your school or at our studio in Birmingham where we have space for intensive, topic focused training sessions.
Recent studio based workshop have been around Animation, Desk Top Publishing, Video Editing and Podcasting.
Ben is a Apple Certified Trainer (ACT) and spends time working with the New Technology Institute in Birmingham. As an ACT Ben delivers Technical training including the Apple Snow 101 and Snow 201 courses.
Ben is also an Apple iLife Associate and trainer for iLife which is a two day course designed for people wanting to learn more about iMovie, iPhoto, Garageband, iDVD and iWeb.
