LUCID  

LUCID stands for Location, User and Context-Aware Information Delivery and is a project initiated by Birmingham City University (BCU)

Trilby have been involved with the LUCID project working on a proof of concept package to develop a QR Code based system to encourage user participation at events or locations. 

QR Codes are a form of barcode which can hold a much larger amount of information than a standard bar code including text and web site addresses. Users just take a picture with their mobile phone and special software decodes the code. The phone can then use this to display an online resource or access a web service to provide a richer experience.

Our Technical Director, Benjamin Stanley has been involved in the LUCID demonstration days for other Creative and ICT based SMEs to get them thinking about creating and using mobile content.
