Worksign is an interactive CD-ROM designed to aid people with hearing impairments to improve and gain skills and knowledge around the formalities of employment.
The CD-ROM focuses on an interview situation whereby the processes leading to the interview and 'what happens next' are looked at through the eyes of the applicant. All text is signed in BSL (British Sign Language) with difficult words and jargon being explained in a glossary.
Worksign has been produced in conjunction with Tipton Deaf Group, Trilby Multimedia and the S.R.B. Special Educational Needs Project of Sandwell LEA.
