KidsMag.net was developed alongside StaffMag.net and is used to get students who participate in Out Of School Hours (OOSH) clubs to report back on the activities they do.

The website content is built by the students themselves as the contribute stories about their school clubs. There are also questionnaires and polls to get opinions and feedback.

There are also learning activities which can be used to form part of a computer based OOSH club. A new addition for 2003 was the KidsMag.net book review. Here students can write reviews on books selected for their age range, the reviews are published online and the system selects a review each month to win books for the school.

Although KidsMag.net is linked with StaffMag.net and they are usually provided as a pair of sites, we are able to offer KidsMag.net on its own as a means of tracking and reporting on school activities. For example in the BREAZ system KidsMag.net is used to provide questionnaire data for the You Can Do It programme.
