ResourcePoint is the electronic version of Sandwell MBC Social Services Information Unit's Resource Directory for Community Care.

The first electronic edition of the directory, in 1998, was in the form of floppy disks which incorporated many features to make it more useful than the printed version. Online and CD-ROM versions followed in 1999/2000.

The 2002 version is a stand-alone application that checks for an Internet connection on the local machine and then uploads any new data that has been added to the database since last connecting.

The directory can now be searched by area, need, name or agency and all the information can be saved or printed out. You can also search the directory online at the ResourcePoint website as well asl download PDF versions of the directory.
