Empowerment towards Employment was a project coordinated by People for Action (PfA), the national network of housing organisations committed to ideas and actions that put influence and power into the hands of local people.

The overall aim of the Empowerment towards Employment project was to develop a model for establishing lasting community-based partnerships between housing associations and local residents, with the skills and capacity to address the symptoms and causes of social exclusion.

Trilby Multimedia have produced a CD-ROM and website as part of the dissemination process at the conclusion of the project. This includes video testimony from tenants, project workers and managers of the housing associations who were involved and the views from transnational partners in Ireland and Germany. The CD-ROM also contains QuickTime VR (virtual reality) scenes from the estates involved in the project.
