The Digital Film School is the first of a set of digital schools that we are establishing here at Trilby Multimedia. Designed to offer access to professional level digital art and media production, the schools have three components - the Mobile Studio, the Online Resource and the Ideas Library. You can have your own online Film Club or Art Gallery and if you buy our Access Pack you get everything you need to Get Digital.
The Digital Schools are aimed at young people in schools and youth settings but are equally valuable in work with adults of all ages and abilities. New technology makes it easy for anyone to quickly learn how to make movies, design websites and make digital art and music. This initiative aims to make these tools available to anyone and in any situation, we just need a power supply and ideally a phone line.
The Digital School concept is currently being tested in Dudley schools and in the LETS Learning Centres. A Digital Art School was piloted with the University of the First Age summer school.
