 The Computer Operated Observation Laboratory is an electronic questionnaire and information gathering device. It was felt that a paper based questionnaire was not appropriate for asking questions of young people so we devised a computer based questionnaire which can be customised to ask a series of questions and record the responses.
Sandwell MBC has successfully used COOL on a number of occasions, and have had very positive responses. A version of COOL was used in the YardleyLIVE project COOL is available for you to use in your work, contact us for more info.
