It was based on the lives and experiences of people who have been on the Preparing to Work in the Community Course, organised through the Black Country Housing Association.

Produced through the Arts Council of England's A4E scheme, it is an interactive documentary reflecting a variety of community work in Sandwell. The end product is aimed at libraries and community centres to illustrate the sort of voluntary and paid community work people can get involved in.
