Dudley Arts Council Website  

The Dudley Arts Council was founded in 1946 and is a registered charity run on a voluntary basis to foster and promote arts across Dudley, the Black Country and the West Midlands. After securing Lottery funding the Dudley Arts Council approached Trilby to update their existing web site.

A key requirement of the new web site was to give members the facilities to communicate and share documents with each other and as a place to advertise what they are doing.

Trilby designed and built a new web site based around these requirements. The web site allows members to log in to gain access to a private area that includes notice boards, documents and tools to publish information about themselves and events they are doing to the public. Web site administrators are also able update almost all aspects of the web site by using the custom built content management system.

The web site has a number of features to help promote Dudley Arts Council members and their events. These include a monthly newsletter, social networking integration and the ability to direct link to events and member profiles.

Two training sessions were also given to the Dudley Arts Council members to show them how to use the web site and get the most out of it.
