Levi Tafari
Levi Tafari is a crucial, rhythrnic, poetic, consciousness raiser and urban griot from Liverpool. As a writer and performer Levi has worked locally, nationally and internationally. Levi's latest collection of poetry "Rhyme don't Pay" has just been published by Headland Publications. As a playwright Levi's plays have been performed at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool the Liverpool Playhouse and the Blackheath Theatre in Stafford. Levi works with many artists from different artforms and various mediums, ie TV, Radio, Theatre, Clubs, Stage, Community Centres and Art Centres, etc.

Levi is currently working at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, hosting a series of shows based on dance entitled "Hot House". The shows involve working with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. A audio cassette of the "Hot House Rap" is also available.
